Re: Great Initiative
Yes! That’s a great idea. Video guides are very useful and sometimes it’s like to remember things better, or perhaps this is just true for visual learners. In any case, great idea, Taimoor.

Re: GDPR
Taimoor: Exactly. It’s an important and sensitive field that needs to be played safe. And that means taking baby steps. Then, if there is an accidental mistake it’s easy to stop, go backwards, analyse the situation, fix it, and retry. I am at MWC this week attending a panel just on this topic. I expect to have a much clearer vision of it after that.

Great Initiative
I think it's a great initative by Security Now to publish the GDPR guide. This should really help the companies in finding answers to questions that they have in mind with regards to GDPR implementation. A lot of companies are struggling these days when it comes to becoming GDPR compliant and this will be of great use. Is there a video guide for it also in the pipeline? Some people may find it more useful.

Re: GDPR
"Incidents and violetions may occur at the beginning because, as anything new, there are going to be lots of questions and uncertainties about how to do things and some accidental mistakes leading to violention may happen. It's going to take some time to master the GDPR in its totality."

@Susan: I agree. I don't expect the authorities to take a very strict stand on this right away. Given that there are already many loopholes identified in GDPR, having a strict approach to implementation will be a failure. What they do need is a more participative approach where they work on their own weaknesses and also help companies remove theirs.
