Re: Soylent Green
Even if automation can take over.. humans are still writing the code (for now). Then it gets kinda scary if algorithms are writing their own algorithms.... so far we have an AlphaGo Zero that can teach itself how to play better than humans, but it'll be some time before there's a program writing another program better than humans can. (Maybe)

Soylent Green
It shouldn't be a surprise by now. The underlying threat at every organization is ... people. It's made of PEOPLE.

@eVestigator I see your point and could not agree more as proper security testing is a must... and proper  security assesment/audit  have to be done and updated regularly

A very well put industry mirroring article
Hello, Simon Smith from eVestigator here. I absolutely agree with this article. As a first responder to Cybersecurity crisis calls, it almost always comes down to an abuse of trust in the human capital invested in someone that has either left ot 2 about to leave. Businesses need to value their non-tangible intellectual property and guard it at C-Level. There is no other place for addressing cyber risk and policy, and taking action on such risks. Many people focus on penetration testing and they really have it all back to front. It all comes down to information assets and abuse of trust (in the real world) as a practicing Cybersecurity and Cybercrime forensic investigator.
